Mission
Real connection should be as easy to start as a message, and much harder to lose.
How it started
Marc and Michael both moved to Munich for study and work. Michael left a whole circle behind in Czechia; here, on an ordinary evening, there was nobody to call. He can talk to anyone. Talking to anyone turned out to be nothing like clicking with someone, and most of those conversations stayed one-offs.
Marc works remotely, so his week has no built-in way to meet anyone. Going out alone and starting a conversation takes a kind of courage that's easy to run out of, especially when everyone else looks like they've got this figured out. That's when most of us reach out less, right when we'd rather reach out more.
So we built what we needed: people nearby, in real life, picked so there's a real chance you get on, and low-stakes enough that showing up is easy. Easier every time you do it.
