What is a Spontaction?
A Spontaction is one real meetup with people near you. A table for six, bouldering on Tuesday, a walk after work. You say yes, you show up, that is it. No swiping, no bios. You meet in a small group or with just one other person, you pick. If the group clicks, you meet again.
How does Spontaction work?
The app suggests meetups near you that match what you enjoy and when you are free. You start with a short profile: coffee, bouldering, free most evenings. We match on personality, not on photos, so you have something in common before you arrive. Pick a meetup, say yes, show up. After each meetup, a few questions add to your profile.
Who is Spontaction for?
Spontaction is for everyone in Munich who would rather meet people than scroll past them. Maybe you are new in town, maybe your friends moved away, maybe you just want more plans in your week. You do not need your own group or a plan. All you need is some free time and the wish to meet new people.
Is Spontaction a dating app?
No. Spontaction is not a dating app. It is about friendships and shared plans, not about finding a partner. There is no swiping. We match on personality, and you meet in a small group or with one other person, always in a public place. What grows from there is up to you.
How safe are the meetups?
Every Spontaction takes place in a public place, never in someone's flat. You meet in cafés, bars, bouldering gyms and other places where other people are around. Groups stay small, so you get to talk to everyone. You choose which meetup you join and whether you meet a group or just one person.
What does it cost?
Spontaction is free for you. Finding meetups, joining and reconnecting will stay free, and we are planning the launch without paid user features. Partner venues like cafés and bars pay to reach new guests. At the meetup, you only pay for what you order yourself, like your coffee or your bouldering entry.
Where and when does it start?
Spontaction starts in Munich in 2027. The first Spontactions take place there, and people on the waitlist get in first. Your meetups happen in cafés, bars, bouldering gyms and other places near you. We are already visiting owner-run cafés, bars and restaurants in central Munich.
How do I get on the waitlist?
Enter your email in the form at the end of this page and agree that we may use it for the waitlist. That is all. You do not need to download an app or fill in a profile yet. When the first Spontactions start in Munich, people on the waitlist get in first. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
